Hi, I’m Zahava. I have a background in Psychology, Psychotherapy, Education, and Clinical Supervision. Over the years, I have worked across diverse settings, including schools, aged care facilities, non-profit organizations, and private practice. In addition, I hold an academic position at Monash University, where I support Master of Counselling students.
I understand that life can be filled with challenges, both big and small, and that taking the step to seek help is often a brave and difficult decision. My goal is to provide you with a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns at your own pace.
Whether you are struggling with relationship difficulties, anxiety, alcohol/drugs, depression, grief, domestic violence or other life challenges, I am here to offer the support and care you deserve. I understand that no two journeys are the same, and I am committed to working collaboratively with you to uncover the unique solutions and strengths that can help you navigate your path forward. Together, we will create a plan that prioritizes your needs and empowers you to face whatever difficulties you may be encountering.
With over 30 years of experience as a therapist, I have worked collaboratively with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner. My work has encompassed a wide range of mental health issues and life challenges, including complex trauma, general and social anxiety, relationship concerns, depression, grief and loss, and domestic violence.
One of my greatest passions is helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen and restore their relationships, including the vital relationship they have with themselves.
I look forward to creating positive change together! :)
