Katrina is a client-focused, holistic psychologist with extensive experience in ADHD and Autism assessments. Her approach is neuro-affirming and trauma-informed, creating a safe and supportive assessment experience where each person feels heard, understood and respected.
Katrina takes an individualised approach, recognising that ADHD and Autism can present differently across people and throughout different stages of life. She understands that neurodivergent presentations can sometimes be overlooked or misunderstood, particularly when individuals have developed strategies to mask or compensate for their difficulties.
Her assessments are thorough, compassionate and evidence-based, with a focus on understanding the whole person - including their developmental history, current experiences, strengths and challenges. The aim is to provide clarity and a deeper understanding of each person’s unique presentation.
We know an ADHD and Autism assessment can feel like a big step, so we’ve designed the process to be clear, supportive and straightforward.
No referral is required to book.
Book an ADHD & Autism Assessment with our psychologist, Katrina. This Assessment is conducted Online via Zoom.
Your clinical assessment takes up to 2 hours and explores your developmental history, current experiences, strengths, challenges and patterns across your life.
After booking, you’ll receive questionnaires to complete via email covering areas such as:
Please complete these at least 1 week before your appointment where possible.
During your 2-hour appointment, Katrina will review your questionnaires, ask further questions and explore your experiences in greater depth.
The assessment considers the broader clinical picture and how ADHD and Autism-related traits may have presented across your development and different areas of your life.
During your appointment, Katrina will discuss your circumstances, goals and what you need your report for. Together, you can determine which report option is best suited to your needs. The assessment itself is the same for all three options. The difference is the level of detail in the written report.
There are three report options, ranging from $900–$1,499:
1) Assessment Report $900: A clear, concise summary of your assessment findings, diagnostic outcomes where applicable, and key recommendations.
2) Detailed Assessment Report $1,199: More detail about your developmental and clinical profile, strengths, challenges, findings and recommendations.
3) Comprehensive Assessment Report $1,499: Provides the highest level of detail and documentation and may be suited to NDIS applications or requests for formal supports or funding.
The price of your selected report is the total cost of your assessment and report. There are no additional fees.
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required when booking.
Once you have selected the report option that best suits your needs, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance. This invoice is due 7 days after your online clinical assessment appointment.
For example:
Afterpay is available for an additional fee. If you wish to use Afterpay for all or part of your total cost please email admin@peninsulawellnessandtherapy.com
Your written report will be provided approximately 8 weeks after your clinical assessment.
No, a psychologist cannot prescribe medication. Psychologists focus on providing evidence-based therapies, assessments, and support for mental health and wellbeing. If medication is something you wish to explore, this will need to be done in collaboration with a medical professional such as a psychiatrist. They can assess whether medication may be helpful for your symptoms and provide ongoing monitoring if it’s prescribed. Psychologists often work alongside these professionals to ensure that therapy and any medication support each other for the best outcomes.
Our adult ADHD and autism assessments involve a comprehensive clinical assessment using a range of evidence-based assessment tools. Depending on your individual presentation and assessment needs, these may include:
We do not rely on a single test or questionnaire to determine a diagnosis. Instead, we consider information from your developmental history, clinical interview, assessment measures and overall presentation to develop a comprehensive understanding of your individual profile.
This combined ADHD and Autism assessment, conducted by a psychologist, is suitable for anyone who suspects they may have ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or both. It is particularly helpful for adults who have experienced lifelong difficulties with attention, focus, social communication, executive functioning, or sensory processing, and want a clearer understanding of their neurodevelopmental profile.
If criteria for ADHD and/or Autism are met, Katrina will provide a formal diagnosis and diagnostic report. Even if you do not meet full criteria, the assessment will clarify your profile and highlight strategies or supports that may benefit you.
