Registered Psychologist

Katrina brings extensive experience providing individual therapy to adolescents (14+) and adults across private practice, NDIS, and community mental health settings. She supports a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, eating concerns (including disordered eating and eating disorders), neurodivergence, personality disorders, and experiences related to sexual abuse. Katrina also works with individuals in the perinatal and postnatal period, offering compassionate, specialised support during this significant life transition. In addition, she provides psychological assessments as part of her practice.

Warm, grounded, and non-judgemental, Katrina creates a safe therapeutic space where clients feel supported to explore both present challenges and deeper patterns that may be impacting their wellbeing. She is committed to meeting clients where they are, working collaboratively to support change in a way that feels realistic, respectful, and sustainable, while offering holistic support that honours the whole person.

Katrina draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E) for eating disorders, alongside trauma-informed and neuroaffirmative frameworks. This integrative approach allows her to tailor therapy to each individual, supporting clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while building practical, effective coping strategies.

Katrina works collaboratively with people from all walks of life, supporting both short-term and longer-term therapeutic goals. Her focus is on helping clients develop insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and build tools that enhance everyday functioning and overall wellbeing.

Rather than focusing on a single area, Katrina takes a holistic and adaptable approach, supporting clients to gently shift unhelpful patterns, process past experiences, and move toward a more grounded, values-aligned life.

Outside the therapy room, Katrina is a mum to three energetic boys, an ocean-lover, and an animal enthusiast with a soft spot for horses. She also shares her workspace with a therapy bird, who serves as a gentle reminder to slow down, stay curious, and breathe.
